About SFCB

San Francisco Center for the Book (SFCB) is dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community for book artists at all levels. Our organization celebrates the art of the book, promotes collaboration, and provides support for both experienced practitioners and newcomers alike.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, SFCB's role in fostering appreciation for artist bookmaking, letterpress printing, and bookbinding is essential. As a dynamic gathering space, our workshop offerings, exhibitions, and related programs highlight SFCB's dedication to education and personal enrichment within the wider book arts community. By creating a space where the wider community can interact with and discover the significance of book and paper arts, SFCB is a valuable resource for individuals exploring and deepening their connection to this creative field.
